vgohyk, I share the same sentiments as you. Things here are so expensive, what with inflation, but there could even be wage cuts coming along soon! Erm... I really don't like foreign workers here, or even foreign students, with the exception of one or two. I don't really like the way china (and sometimes koreans too) people talk so loudly, their thick accent, uncouth behaviour etc. MRT is so crowded. 8 years or so ago, it wasn't like that. With so many people, we have to queue for almost everything. Our tiny island of a country is being "invaded"!

Hmm... what I like will be my friends and family here. That's the only thing stopping me from migrating. Oh. And of cos, ca$h too. Muahahahaha!

P.S. Hmm, will I get into trouble for saying all this?

Well, I have to agree too. I heard in Taiwan and some other countries, while economy is going down, they care for their citizens too! Even big shopping malls etc are giving big discounts to their shoppers..consumers. What about SG? When everything seems bad, everything's hiking too! Like that how to survive??!!

Can you imagine working at big fastfood restaurant like Macdonalds, Burger King etc.. and their pay is $3.50/hr or $4 max? While pay is so low, their set meal is giving them big time profits already!!

I'm sure there are some good things I like about Singapore too, but I can only think of one for now. At least we don't have bombs or something like the Mumbai attacks going on here. That would be terrible. We'll have no where to hide. But Mas Selamat still remains at large... Hmm...

Haha! You'll never know.. Imagine if all worse happen on us.. Tsunami.. Wars.. Bombs attack.. I think SG will become a FLAT land oredi!
