| Prices hike up incredibly crazy these few years, esp recently. Heard of numerous news about the problem of harvesting wheats, the weather, etc.. eew! Crazy crazy! I usually packet Seafood Noodles from coffee shop nearby when Mom's not cooking. It cost $4 (which is damn expensive already!), and now increased to $4 .20! $0.20 more!  |

Certain brands selling 10kg at like $26? Somewhere there. I was there with my mom, she said it was only $1X before all these crap...

| price hike aside..u should see all the aunties stocking up on rice..it's like rice is free..madness i would say.. they are so old already, and yet they struggle to buy and carry those bags of rice home.. |

| it's not only rice. for last few weeks, every weekend i go to NTUC, the fridge/cooler for the fresh milk and cartons of soy milk is practically emptied out. it's like they're spreeing on milk and soy milk please. it's just crazy!!!!!!!!!!!! _________________ Do check the respective threads regularly for updates! | i haven't been into ntuc for quite some time..but i saw those aunties n grannies lugging those heavy sacks of rice..sigh..hope the harvest for rice will be better soon.. |
